Verandahs, red floors and slow afternoons
Theeram is built in the old style: a long verandah on dark stone pillars, cool red-oxide floors, hanging lamps and wooden shutters. The garden runs down to the water, where there's always somewhere to sit.
There's a particular kind of quiet you only find beside moving water. No traffic hum, no city noise: Theeram was made for people who want to unplug, reconnect, or simply do nothing at all for a few days.
